The project involved developing a prototype housing of 19 villas (Block 21 – Phase II, composed of 7 villas; Block 22 – Phase III, composed of 5 villas; Phase IV, composed of 7 villas). The Client wanted to target middle income group of people. Each villa composed of four (4) duplex apartment and nested in a lot area of 790-820 sqm. The floor area of each dwelling unit, which has three (3) levels, has an approximate area of 480 sqm.


The challenge involved in creating a variation in elevation concepts but within the limits of modernity and the architectural expression was a conscious departure to modern idiom largely prevalent in recent development in the city. Architecturally, the buildings have interplay of solid and voids in a series and affordable visual interest.
